North of Tehran
Today after breakfast, we head to north of Tehran to Sadabad complex. There are 19 Palaces and museums locating along a maze like roaring river. Since it is located in Tehran’s heights, the weather is often cool and desirable even in summer. We can walk through the gardens and visit great jobs of distinguished figures in Iran’s art history together with palaces of Pahlavi era.
Finishing our visit, we walk to Darband. Traditional and junk food is something very common there. Locals hang around and trek the place frequently in summer. We eat there and after a short time continue our visits.
Iranians love Tajrish Bazaar. It’s an old bazaar where you can find whatever you need. From the most modern clothes to traditional spices are all sold in the shops tightly lined under covered ceiling of the bazaar.
If you like to mingle with locals, nowhere is better than bazaars. You get familiar with the Iranian lifestyle and their way of shopping.
